Coconut, Chocolate & Chia Cake Bites

You, yes you have to try these cake bites, they are pure gold.

A very simple recipe which makes use of chocolate cake that went wrong or any that's not being used.
I know making cake pops is pretty standard with cake off cuts, but try this recipe if you love chocolate and coconut...

100g gluten free chocolate cake crumbled in a bowl
100g dark chocolate melted
2 tbsp coconut oil melted
1 tbsp chia seeds
100g milk chocolate to decorate
Dr Oetker gold lustre spray

Simply melt the dark chocolate and keep to one side, meanwhile melt the coconut oil and once there are no white bits, stir into the chocolate.
Crumble cake, add chia seeds and melted solution.
Stir well.
 Grease your hands with coconut oil and roll mixture into ten balls and place onto grease proof paper.
Put into the freezer for five minutes.
Melt milk chocolate and pour over cold coconut balls, once again pop back into the freezer.
Take out after ten minutes.

Spray gold and enjoy!
